Spinal Decompression
Dr. Darrell Wehrend believes that no one should endure a single day with pain and/or discomfort.
Spinal decompression treats chronic back and neck pain without surgery.
Is decompression right for you?
Spinal decompression is effective in treating low back pain associated with disc herniation, bulging discs, degenerative disc disease, lumbar stenosis, Facet Syndrome and sciatica.
Spinal decompression will reduce your back pain, soothe your symptoms and vastly improve your quality of life.
How long do spinal decompression sessions last?
A typical patient's spinal decompression treatment consists of 20 sessions over a six-week period. Each session lasts 30 minutes and is followed by a cold pack and/or electrical stimulation to help restore muscle tone.
Why do I have back pain in the first place?
The discs in your spine act as shock absorbers. Herniation or "bulging" discs may occur because of wear and tear or an injury. Disc degeneration can occur when the spongy disc dries out and consequently puts pressure on the nerves. The result is muscle tension and back pain.
